How every week works
The same four steps, every week. What we learn in step 3 shapes the next week's plan.
Plan
Monday: five changes are chosen for your site, and a person reads every one before it goes on your site.
Each one is chosen from your goals and names what we expect it to do, before we make it.
Do
Wednesday: the week's changes are made and checked on your live site.
If a change slips, it carries over until it is done, for as long as you stay subscribed.
Check
We compare each change with how things stood before it, then keep reading it every week. You see the before and the now, and the changes that missed are shown too.
Act
We keep it, build on it, or change it, and that shapes the next five.
Search results depend on many things, so what we expect is the direction we are aiming for, not a guarantee.
We make the changes, so you don't have to.
Here is what one change looks like in your portal.
Example. What: the custom cakes page title now names the towns you deliver to. Why: the old title did not say where you are. Done: Wednesday, checked on the live page.
We expect: the page starts showing for cake searches that name those towns.
This is a made-up example. Your list shows your own site's changes.

What one optimization can be
Each of the five is one change to a page on your site. It can be:
Checks before and after every change
Compared with the top 10
Before we change a page, we compare it with the top 10 pages that show up for its search, and look for the words and ideas yours leaves out.

It follows a published guideline
Each change follows a published search guideline, such as Google Search Essentials, and we record which one and its date.
A person reads it first
A person reads every change before it goes on your site.
Checked on your live page
After a change goes on your site, we check the live page to make sure it went on as planned.
Compared with before
We compare it with how things stood before it, and you see both.
Kept on record
Past weeks stay in your portal, and every version of a page is kept with the reason it changed.
The numbers and the work, in one place
SEO is often sold two ways: software that shows you the numbers, or an agency that does the work. Starter is both, for your site.
Your portal, page by page. The pictures use a made-up bakery.

SEO Ops
See every change on your site: what it was, why it was made, and when it was done.
This week's five, each with the goal it serves and what we expect it to do.
Flag any item that looks off. We reply within 1 to 2 business days.
What earlier weeks' work is doing, including the changes that missed, and what we are doing about each.

More than a monthly report
An agency usually sends a report once a month. Here, the numbers sit in your portal all month, next to the work and your goals.
A summary of the month before arrives on the 1st of each month.

Your part
Tell us what you sell and what you want more of. We read it before we change anything.
Setup is your business details, read access to Search Console and Google Analytics, and co-owner or admin access to your website. Your site and accounts stay yours.
You never have to approve a change. If something looks wrong, flag it on that item.
We reply to a flag within 1 to 2 business days.
We never use shortcuts that break search engines' published guidelines.
What Starter does not include
Starter does not include Google Business Profile or local listings work, link building, a redesign, social media, ads or email marketing.
New pages are an SEO Project, quoted separately and added on top of your subscription.
One subscription covers one website.
Add an SEO Audit from your portal any time. Your subscription keeps working alongside it.
The price of an SEO Audit is not credited toward a subscription.
Want advice beyond the weekly work? Ask about consulting from your portal, and we reply in 1 to 2 business days.
If you want to stop
No contract. Leave any month.
Every change is made on the site you already own, so it stays yours if you leave, once the month is paid for.
